Dear Family and Friends,

I have been having a blast in Belgium! Justine(my ministry colleague) and I  were invited to a local Belgians house that we met at the teachers college. We were so blessed to be able to eat with them and get to see how some of the locals live. They were very sweet and hospitable. They played guitar and sang some French and English songs to us. After, I played guitar and we sang two American Christian Contemporary songs.

We have met many Belgians this week and have found much favor. I also had a very interesting discussion with a very opinionated atheist this week. We were able to talk logically about Creationism verses Evolution. I was so thankful for the apologetic classes my parents took me to when I was younger. We went to some Christian World View classes. I could tell that he was very interested in my views because it seems as if Europeans assume that if we believe in God we are either weak people or just ignorant.

We were also able to attend a Catholic Mass this week, which was very educational. There was almost no one there only a few elderly people. No one under the age of 60 was there. The young people aren’t interested in Catholicism at all.

Finally, please pray as we begin our different ministries. We are going to be starting an English club, a sports ministry,  live music and setting up our store front to sell Christian books. Please pray for me as I am learning French and French Sign Language. The Sign Language is Belgium is different from Mali, Africa and America and I am unable to completely communicate yet. A hard of hearing, French Sign Language teacher, who teaches free classes, thinks I will pick up on it pretty quickly. Please pray that we continue to meet more Belgian friends to tell about Jesus. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this church plant and I am so thankful for your prayers and support.

Much Love and Many Blessings,

Cami Lynn
